The STRIPED Series consists of experiments with colored tape, accessible and easy-to-use material, through which I research about artistic make-up, art-education-school relationships, the precarious and even the grotesque. STRIPED began as a tribute to the Polish artist Edward Krasinski (1925- 2004) - a relentless experimenter who used the Scotch-Blue tape to talk to and about space, sculpture and installation as if marking territories. Walking through various activities mediated by the use of colored tape, STRIPED activates surfaces and body, discovering new spaces.
